It is composed of approximately 30,000 homes, 19 residential towers, 9 hotels, a parkland and a 12 hectare Burj Khalifa Lake which is a man-made lake.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has said that, the building of Burj Kahlifa is on the purpose of expanding Dubai’s economy in terms of tourism industry, making it more than just the oil-based economic country. Hence, this is the mark of another leap of Dubai to be known by the world in the 21st century.
