Petronas Towers – Twin Towers – Malaysia

Being one of the most crucial landmark in Malaysia, Petronas tower, or the Twin Tower, is undeniably the place to say. The significance of this building is that it is the headquarter for the company holding the same name, and it used to hold the record once as the tallest tower until 2004. Another distinctive feature of this tower, apart from being twin towers, is the bridge that links the two identical towers, which is call Doubled-decked Sky Bridge.


As it is the landmark of Kuala Lumpur, many people come to visit this tower. It is suggested to get the ticket early since the ticket available is limited –advisable at 8.30 a.m. –to make a tour in this building. Not only there is a tour in the tower, visitors can watch movies presenting the significance of it to the country of Malaysia.

As the centre of the capital city of Malaysia, Petronas tower is the centre for shopping, science, as well as art, among which are Phiharmonic Hall, KLCC garden, and The Aquarium Oceanaruim. The main focus is on shopping centre. An exclusive KLCC shopping centre is counted as the most crowded shopping centre in Malaysia.

In term of science and knowledge, Petronas Saint Centre, located on the 4th floor, is the landmark within the twin tower. It is the centre of learning for both students and visitors who pass by.


Petronas Art Gallery, located on the 3rd floor of KLCC, is yet another good spot for those who love art. There are many art classes and other interesting activities. Moreover, within the gallery, there stands many species of animals in the KLCC as well.
